Choosing a Favourite CTC#375

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.

This week we are casing our FAVOURITE retiring product!!  And what a challenge!!

Eventually, I decided that I would go to the first product I wanted to buy from the Catalogue when it came out - which was the Flowing Flowers stamp set. I think this is a gorgeous stamp set with artistic images and a bunch of perfect sayings!!

My card is actually a fun peek-a-boo card featuring window sheet.   My Card base is 10cm x 21 cm and I have scored it at 14.5cm and then cut off 3cm for the bottom piece.  The window sheet is 10cm x 14cm which is adhered next to the score line, and then the extra piece is adhered to the bottom of the window sheet.  It looks so lovely and is so easy to do!!

The flowers were stamped using Petal Pink and Cherry Cobbler with Pear Pizzazz leaves.  I have fussy cut all of these out and then strategically placed them on the window sheet to cover the greeting stamped in the centre of the card.  I've also wrapped some seam binding ribbon around the base under the flowers and tied a pretty bow!!

When the card is closed it looks like an ordinary card but when you open it, there's a little window!!

The inside of the card features lots of simple stamping!!

Up next is the amazing Tina and her favourite.

We'd love you to join our challenge and share your favourite!!

What a lovely card! I love how you’ve used the window sheet so that you can see the flowers inside also.

  2. Stunning Julia. I forget to use window sheet like this. Such a pretty font to pair with your lovely flowers. A lovely fresh and summery card.
