From a Box to a Scrap Page CTC#335

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.

This week we are CASEING a 3D project from our Annual Catalogue.  After loving every bit of the Mini Catalogue, it feels good to be flipping back through our Annual Catalogue!!

I've been inspired by this little coffee cup holder on page 33 - I've used the same basic layout and colours and transformed the 3D project into a scrap page.

Can you see the similarities!!  I've used the lovely symmetrical stems border punch for the edges of my Pear Pizzazz card stock to replicate the stitched border on the original.

My background stamping comes from the Enjoy The Moment stamp set stamped using Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake cardstock for a tone on tone effect.  I've also flicked some Wink of Stella for a little shimmer.  The punched leaves were also adhered for more background detail.

The lovely greetings/titles on my page come from the Enjoy The Moment stamp set also.

And I've use a combination of Ornate Frames dies, Tasteful Labels dies and the Label me Lovely punch and the Rectangle Postage Stamp punch for all of the journaling and title details.

And instead of bakers twine about the lid of the 3D project, I've substituted the gorgeous Gingham ribbon from our Mini Catalogue.  Originally I was totally daunted by this challenge, but in the end I feel like I nailed it!!  And achieved another scrap page for the album!!  Woohoo!!

Up next is the awesome Michelle and her great CASE.

And we'd love to welcome you to our challenge group on our Facebook page - click here to join the group!

You can see the gorgeous gingham ribbon here in our Mini Catalogue offerings.
