  10. With a shelf life of up to a year, this product can come in handy whenever you find yourself in a tight spot. THC stays in the system after use, but the length of time it stays there depends on a variety of factors. The duration and side effects of the detox process can be affected as a result of this. But, on average, the traces of THC in different parts of the body can remain for the following periods of time: • Blood: 36 hours • Saliva: 48 hours • Urine: Anywhere between 3 days to a month (depending upon your ingestion) • Hair: 90 days • Sweat: 7-14 days These figures can also vary depending upon cannabis users how much that the person consumes. After these comes the body itself. Many things, like the amount of exercise, body fat cells, metabolism, and a person’s eating habits can affect the duration of THC in their system. All things considered, there is no fail proof way to pass a drug test 100% of the time. Rather than depending on a single trick or product, the best strategy is to use a combination of them. Given that it takes up to half a year to fully cleanse your body, not everyone has that luxury. You can also completely shave your head but it’s too obvious and they might request another sample. Hair follicle tests are accurate. However, they aren’t set off by second-hand smoke. Passive drug exposure shouldn’t affect a hair follicle test as your body itself doesn’t contain the metabolites used to detect drug use. The answer to this question depends on where you live and work. Some states don’t allow employers to demand hair follicle tests from employees, while others demand that employees consent to the test. Most states also require employers to provide sufficient evidence to ask for a drug test.
