Masculine Twist on a favourite!! CTC#321

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues - CATTY.

This week, we are CASEING a Layout from our soon to retire Mini Catalogue, and giving it a masculine twist.

I was inspired by the layout of 2 different projects (and secretly was having so much fun, I just kept going!!)

My first project inspired by the front cover of the Mini Catalogue features the Layering Diorama dies, the Inspiring Canopy dies, Beautiful Trees dies and an image from the hostess stamp set Better Places.

I've coloured the scenery from Better Places using markers onto a piece of vellum and added that to the inside of my Diorama Card.  The measurements for the box shape for the card are:
Cardstock A4 length x 10 1/2 cm scored at 11cm, 14cm, 25cm, 28cm on the long side to create a box shape.

I used the Diorama dies to create a window in the front, and added some of the Inspiring Canopy trees with shimmery vellum leaves.  The smaller inside tree was die cut using the Beautiful Trees dies.  This card folds flat to fit in a standard envelope.

My second card features a very simple layout from page 60 of the Mini Catalogue.

I've used the Turtle Friends bundle for the detail, and the background was created using an image from the Seascape stamp set.

This card is a reverse easel card with the fun reveal when it stands up!

So, here's my two cards for the guys!!  What do you think?

Up next is the awesome Tina and her bow tie!!

Please join in the fun with us by adding your project to the lineup here!
