CTC#316 Farewell to the old catalogue

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! catalogues. (CATTY)

This week, the challenge is to say goodbye to our retiring Catalogue - and what a huge bunch of amazing projects to farewell!!

2020-2021 Annual Catalogue page 174 All images copyright Stampin' Up! ©

After endless flicking and thinking and humming and hawing, I eventually decided the card at the top of page 174 was an interesting place to start for a fun technique.

I've used watercolour paper for the main image, and stamped a flower from Hand Penned Petals using Sahara Sand ink.  I've coloured the images using watercolour pencils and then added some extra depth with a water painter.

To continue the layout theme of the inspiration card, I wanted to add some of the coordinating Hand Penned paper down the left side of the main image...... but this idea morphed into a double card fold to show off lots more paper!!

I was able to show off several different papers with this card and really celebrate this gorgeous Hand Penned Suite.

The only other embellishment is some Bumblebee ribbon - love the gingham!!!  This is one of our cards for the next class which features the wonderful Hand Penned Petals Bundle.

Up next is the amazing Michele and her favourite retiring inspiration!!

We'd love you to join in the fun with us too by adding your favourite project inspired by the retiring catalogue to our Facebook challenge page.
