Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.
To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! Catalogues (Catty).
This week, we are CASEING the Love You Always Suite on pages 10 - 13.
Have you noticed the super sweet and cute Sweet Little Valentines Cards & More on page 16?
I've used these as my starting point for CASEING some layouts from the Love You Always Suite. My first card above features the central heart (I've punched using the Heart Punch and Vellum) and the scattering of small images top and bottom.
These are the teeny butterflies from the Butterfly Beauty dies and some gold foil. I've also added a swish of gold foil using the same dies to repeat the ribbon detail from the card in the catalogue.
My second card again loosely follows a layout in the catalogue. I've used the Sale-a-bration Punch Party stamp set for the main image, as well as the images making the flag in the background. These were all punched using the Rectangle Postage punch. I needed to swap sides for the twine details as I wanted to cover the join for the two stamped images on the flag.
After making these cards, then I just got carried away with the Sweet Little Valentines cards and the Punch Party Stamp set. I think they worked quite well together.
This card features an extra ribbon detail using the stunning Pool Party Sheer Ribbon and a punched heart from the Heart Punch and the lovely Punch Party stamp set.
My last card features the lovely Double Oval Punch, some gold foil, and more stamps from the Punch Party stamp set.
The Sweet Little Valentines Cards have such gorgeous colours and layers with the kit, that each card needed only very little embellishment!!
Up Next is the wonderful Monique and her lovely project!!
