Sale-a-bration CASEING CTC#303

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues, and then challenge you to do the same.

This week, we are CASEING from our Sale-a-bration Catalogue.

I just love the glorious Berry Blessings stamp set and the Berry Delightful paper - they are a bundle Sale-a-bration reward and work wonderfully together...... and ALSO coordinate with the brilliant Sweet Strawberry Bundle of the Sweet Strawberry stamp set and coordinating Strawberry Builder Punch.

My cards are roughly similar to the ones on the catalogue but simplified rather a lot to be very plain and making the most of the stunning papers so they are the star of every card.  This berry card has a piece of vellum to help the oval punched greeting and the fussy cut berries stand out a little more.

This strawberry card is based loosely on the box on the bottom left of the image.  I stamped and punched the strawberry elements from the designer series paper using the Strawberry punch and stamps from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set.

This card was inspired by the berry card from the top left of the page.  The two step images from the Berry Blessings stamp set work really well.  I've also used the fabulous new Double Oval punch for the greeting on this card.

I think this is the simplest card of all - just some of the designer paper and a greeting.  The card in the centre of the image in the catalogue was all stamped using images from both the Sweet Strawberry stamp set and the Berry Blessings stamp set - but I'm going for super simple today!!  The only extra is a little of the white bakers twine from the Snail Mail suite.

And finally the lovely blueberry card stamped using the Berry Blessings stamp set - again a two step image that works beautifully!  I've added some of the lovely ribbon from the Boho Indigo product medley to this card.

Wouldn't you love to earn this gorgeous bundle free?  Just by purchasing the Sweet Strawberry bundle, the Double Oval Punch; Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack and the Boho Indigo Product Medley, you can receive this great Berry Blessings bundle free!

Up next on our hop is the seriously talented Tina and her great Sale-a-bration Project.  Make sure you keep hopping around everyone to see lots of amazingness!!

You are also invited to share your project CASED from our Sale-a-bration catalogue - it's easy to add your photo to our Facebook challenge page.

A floral CTC#302

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! Catalogues.

This week, we are CASEING a Floral Project from the Mini Catalogue or the Sale-a-bration Catalogue.

I've been inspired by the cute floral card featured on page 8 showcasing the Flowering Cactus product medley.

My card features some of the lovely paper in this medley, as well as the die cut felt flowers!  The flowers are glued onto the cardstock using our Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Easy Peasy.

For the flower stems, I'm using the cool Berry Blessings bundle and stamped in Old Olive for the outline and then Soft Sea Foam for the fill in stamped image.  I've stamped the greeting from the same stamp set using Gorgeous Grape.

Inside the card features some more of the sweet paper in the Product Medley - there are lots of great designs in this paper!!  My final touch is a tied bow using our Linen Thread.

UP next is the super talented Tina and her floral inspired project!!

We'd love you to join in the challenge with us too over on our Facebook challenge page.  It's easy to add your photo to the lineup and you don't need to have a blog to join in!!

It's all about me for our Scrapbooking Hop

Hello and Welcome to our First Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop for 2021.

This is a marvellous group of seriously talented creative scrappers who use Stampin' Up! products for our Memory Keeping.  Make sure you keep hopping all the way around to be inspired!!

This Month our theme was presented by the talented Mai, and it is Just Me Scrap Yourself

My Page does include my husband, but really it's about me and the best 30 years of my life with this gorgeous man!!

Apparently the 30th Wedding Anniversary is a Pearl theme!!  So I've used our Pearls (of course) as well as our new Pearlescent Specialty Paper for the flowers (swoon - love this paper) which have been punched using the brilliant Strawberry Punch and stamped with Sahara Sand and the coordinating Sweet Strawberry stamp set. You can actually get these as a bundle with a 10% discount.

The background of my title and journaling panels was stamped with the textured stamp from Woven Heirlooms with Petal Pink and Blushing Bride, and also the words stamped in Cherry Cobbler using some of the gorgeous font from the Heal Your Heart Sale-a-bration stamp set.  Once again the amazing Playful Alphabet dies combined with the Foam Sheet Adhesive work a treat to make my title become the star!!

Did you notice the cute stitched edging on my title panel?  I've used the lovely Stitched With Whimsy dies along with the Stitched Rectangle dies.  The little Garden Green swirls with the flowers comes from the Butterfly Beauty dies.

The last touch was a couple of the great stamps from the Sale-a-bration hostess stamp set Punch Party and the coordinating punches - Rectangle Postage Punch and the Heart Punch Pack.  Overall this is quite a simple page with few embellishments.

Up next is the totally amazing Alison and her page!

Here are all of the participants in case you get lost along the way!!

Please head over to my online store if you wish to see these products in more detail - and you can place your order anytime (if you're in Australia) while you're there (even if you're in your pyjamas!!)

Saleabration caseing CTC#301

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit , and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues (Catty).

This week, we are CASEING from our Sale-a-bration Catalogue.

I've been inspired by the lovely watery, painty technique on page 8 of the Sale-a-bration Catalogue which features the fun Corner Bouquet stamp set.  After I'd made my card, I flicked it with some Champagne Shimmer Mist and a Water Painter - can you see my newly decorated catalogue in the background?  My ability to make splatters go EVERYWHERE (except where I want them!!) means that I really should look at what's on my desk before I start splattering!!  Lol!!

To create the watery image I inked up the stamp partly with some Pear Pizzazz ink, and then used a Bumblebee and Rococo Rose Stampin' Write Maker to add extra colour.  Then I spritzed the whole image using the Stampin' Mist to create the watery look just before stamping.  I've also used Shimmery White Cardstock which tolerates more moisture than other cardstock.

When you do this technique - every card has it's own unique look which I love as I think it looks so artistic!!  The greeting on the front was stamped with another Sale-a-bration stamp set - Heal Your Heart - just loove that font!!

Inside the card features some 2nd and 3rd generation stamping with the small stamps from the Corner Bouquet stamp set and Pear Pizzazz with Rococo Rose inks.  The greeting comes from another Sale-a-bration stamp set - the fabulous hostess set Punch Party!!  There are so many great stamps that coordinate with a bunch of our great punches!! This time, the greeting coordinates with the new Double Oval Punch featured in our new Mini Catalogue.  Love it!!

My final touch was a little folded Fine Art Ribbon which is super soft on the top right of the front of the card and then the splattery effects of the Champagne Shimmer Mist and a Water Painter!!

Up next is the wonderful Michelle and her cool newspaper project from the Sale-a-bration catalogue!!

We'd love you to join in the challenge with us too and you don't need a blog to do it!!  Just upload your photo to our Facebook challenge page here!!
