Embossing Inspiration CASEING the CATTY #298

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our fabulous Stampin' Up! catalogues (Catty).

This week, we are CASEING a project featuring an embossing folder from our Mini Catalogue.

August - December 2020 Mini Catalogue  page 35 all images © Stampin' Up! ®

I've been inspired by the gorgeous card on page 35 featuring Peaceful Nativity (which is actually on SPECIAL for $28!!)  and the Evergreen Forest embossing folder which is carrying over after this Mini Catalogue finishes.  I'm so glad to be able to finally CASE this card!!  I've loved it ever since I first opened this Mini catalogue!!

I've created an easel card and used Feels like Frost paper embossed with the Evergreen Forest Folder, and also used Snowflake Splendour paper with the Evergreen Folder.

The greeting comes from my favourite Christmas stamp set for this year - Wrapped in Christmas.  I've used Gold Foil for the star above this stable cut using the Nativity Dies.

My card layout is quite similar to the original - I've just added the extra layer for the stable roof around the main image using the coordinating Nativity dies  (also on special for just $34.30).

Inside the card, I've used another of the lovely stamps from Peaceful Nativity.

Up next this week is the gorgeous Michelle and her beautiful dragonfly card - swoon.  Make sure you keep hopping all the way around the hop to get lots of inspiration so you can join in the challenge with us on our Facebook challenge page here.

  1. I love your versions of this card. The DSP looks amazing embossed behind the stable. Yours are much more like the original card than mine are caseing the same one. The easel card is perfect for these so that someone can have it on display with the sentiment showing.
