Inspired by the Page 1 of the Catalogue CTC#295

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! Catalogues (Catty) which are full of amazing inspiration.

This week, we are caseing from the first page of our annual catalogue!!  And I really hope you can tell which card started as my inspiration project this week!!

I've often admired this fun layout with the diagonal piece taken out for a fun peekaboo element with a difference!  So this was my chance to try it out..... but I think there could be an easier way to create it.  I've measured and cut using a ruler for this card.

My stamp set of choice was the wonderful Life is Beautiful set and I've used it with Cinnamon Cider and Bumblebee ink.

I think the greeting worked well divided into two parts with some in the ditch and a fussy cut element on top!!

Make sure you keep hopping all the way around for lots of amazing inspiration from this first page!!  Up next is the very talented Tina.  Enjoy her project!!

Once you've hopped through everybody, feel free to add your project inspired by this first page to our lineup on our Facebook challenge page.

  1. I love how you have stamped the tree in the main panel rather than using DSP. The sentiment looks great split in the panel cut out but also with the part of the sentiment you fussy cut.

  2. Love this Julia! I thought it would look gorgeous with stamping too, and the tree is just a perfect subject.

  3. Fabulous card, Julia; so much to love about it. The matted panels look great and I love the angled tree and the 2-part greeting. Just a great card!
