The Masculine Cards CTC#274

Hello and Welcome to another fabulous Sunday Night Blog Hop CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! Catalogues - CATTY.

This week we are CASEING the Masculine Cards from our new Annual Catalogue.  Welcome if you've just arrived from  Michelle and then make sure you keep hopping right around the team to see some gorgeous masculine cards!!

Annual Catalogue 2020-2021 page 27  all images © Stampin' Up! ®

I have been inspired by the lovely High Tide card on page 27.  I have made this Z fold card using this stamp set before, but this time, I've really showcased the amazing Old World Paper embossing folder.

I've used the embossing folder for the watery background and for the rocks surrounding the base of the light house - what do you think????

The 'sand' at the foreground of the card was stamped with the sandy images from the stamp set and also embossed using the Subtle embossing folder.

The writing panel for your greeting is on the back of the card which repeats some of the imagery from the front of the card.

This is such a fun card because you can stand it up on your mantelpiece to show it off AND it folds easily for posting!!

When the card is fully opened it is the full length of an A4 sheet of cardstock.

This has been a week for Masculine cards for me - my husband needed a card for a colleague retiring who's super car keen, so this is the card we gave to him - and it was inspired by the image on page 28 above which shows off those fabulous metallic foil gears!!

Up next is the totally lovely Tina.

So, would you like to join in the fun with us and share your masculine cards inspired by our catalogue?  Just add the photo to the lineup on our Facebook challenge page here.

  2. I love the z fold card and the use of the old world paper embossing folder looks amazing for the water and the rock.

  3. Julia, this is such a clever way of using both of these embossing folders. I love your lighthouse card.
