Welcome to the New Catalogue CTC#271

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASING the CATTY!!

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy and Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! Catalogues (Catty).

This week, the challenge is to CASE from the Front Cover of our new catalogue which goes live on Wednesday this coming week woohoo!!

I've had a play with some of my new goodies from this catalogue - a super fun perk from being a demonstrator is to be able to order new goodies EARLY!!  I've chosen the layout from the bottom card on the catalogue front and explored it in different ways!!

My first card created using this layout features the gorgeous Forever Fern stamp set and Soft Sea Foam mixed with gold embossing.  I wasn't too thrilled with this one, so I went back to my craft table again..

and then used the lovely Jar of Flowers stamp set to do some repeat stamping of one image, which I then coloured using my Stampin' Blends.  The greeting comes from Many Mates.  I quite liked this one.

And finally I tried using some of the gorgeous Flowers for Every Season paper and the new Misty Moonlight colour for a very simple card.  The greeting on this one comes from Tasteful Touches!!

Inside the cards are all identical to the front of each.

So, which one is your favourite?  I think I like the sunflowers best - and it took the longest to create with the colouring.

Up next is the gorgeous Rebecca and her awesome project!!

We really love it when you join in the fun with us too, so please add your project inspired by the New Catalogue cover to our Facebook challenge page here.

  1. I love how you have used the same layout, yet each card looks so different! I can't decide which one I like best.

  2. I rather like the first one, the one you weren't so keen on! I think this is a great layout for cards though and they are all worthy!

  3. Lovely Julia! I don't mind the first one either, love the contrast in colours. I do love your sunflowers though - and great colouring. The last one let's the DSP do the work. Awesome :)

  4. One layout and three totally gorgeous cards Julia. They all look fabulous, I can't pick a favourite.

  5. All three of these are fabulous, Julia, and I can see colouring the sunflower one must have taken ages. But my favourite is actually your first one. I love the green and gold combo, the twine, and that adorable little tag and hello sentiment. It's all good stuff!!

  6. Wow! Three lovely cards. I love how they are the same design but look totally different. I think my favourite is the sunflower one.
