CTC#269 My favourite Retiring Bundle!!

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing offerings in the Stampin' Up! catalogue.  This week we are sharing our Favourite Retiring Bundle from the Stampin' Up! catalogues.

I'm sharing the Sea of Textures stamp set and the Under the Sea dies - one of my favourites for scrapbooking and masculine cards - I love all the textural elements, and as we live on the Sunshine Coast, there are always scrapbook pages needing seaside images!!  You can see the stamp set and these dies in more detail on my website here.

I've been inspired by this lovely card on page 153 of the Annual Catalogue.
This stamp set and die bundle works really well for shaker cards and aquarium type images, so I've created a diorama shaker card!!

The front window of the diorama is 2 pieces of window sheet with sequins and glitter inside to create the shaker elements.

On the back wall of the diorama I've stamped some watery images and added some of the die cut elements as well as the little fishies die cut in the background.

The card is a simple box cut from half of a sheet of A4 longways - so I can get 2 cards from one sheet of cardstock.  The front of the card measures 10 1/2 cm x 11cm.

On the back of the card is the writing panel.

From the top view, you can see how the shaker window has been attached to the front of the card.

And the beauty of this card is that it folds flat for postage in a standard envelope!!  How cool is that!!

My colour inspiration for this card comes from the #keepstamping challenge by Stampin' Up! for this week - the colours are:  So Saffron, Crushed Curry, Smokey Slate and Seaside Spray.  You are welcome to join in the challenge with us too - just add your hashtag #keepstamping when you post your photo.

Up next on our hop this week is the marvellous Rebecca, and you'll love her project!!  Make sure you keep hopping all the way around the team so you can see the amazing projects and bundles that will soon be gone!!

We really love it when you join in the challenge with us!!  Feel free to share your project featuring your favourite retiring bundle by adding your photo to our Facebook page!!
