Leafy Inspiration for CASEING the CATTY #253

Hello and Welcome to our fun Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit, or to Copy And Share Everything!  And we love to CASE from our fun Stampin' Up! catalogues which are full of inspiration on every page!

This week, the challenge is to CASE from the Come to Gather Suite on pages 46 - 51.

My inspiration came from the awesome 3D apple at the top right of this photo on page 49

I've CASED the whole layout from the top of the pizza box, and then converted it to a tag using the fabulous Perfectly Plaid Suite.  The tree was stamped and punched 3 times and then glued back to back to create the fun tag!!

The DSP in the background is part of the Perfectly Plaid Suite too - fun patterns featuring a touch of gold foil which is sooo pretty.  I've stamped a greeting from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set (such a useful stamp set!!) onto some vellum and wrapped it around the back of the DSP so you can't see any of the adhesive through the vellum.  This is a cool tip I learnt from Liz at https://lillylovespaper.blogspot.com/  She has so many great ideas!!!

Up next on our hop is the very talented Shannon.

We love it when you join in with us, so we hope you'll get your crafty going and add your project to our facebook challenge page for this week's theme of the Come to Gather Suite!!

  1. How clever to pick another great punch to replicate the apple, this is another inspired idea Julia.

  2. What a great case! The tag looks great with the 3D Christmas tree. Now you’ve got me thinking as to what other punches I have that this could work with.

  4. This is fun! Such a cute tag. I love your use of vellum here. You could pop this on a present wrapped in plain paper and it would look just fabulous.
