The Colour Combos of the Catalogue!! CTC#206

Hello and Welcome to another fabulous challenge for our
Sunday Night Blog Hop CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit or Copy And Share Everything, and we love to CASE the Stampin' Up! catalogues and the amazing projects there to inspire on every page!!

This week, the challenge is to CASE a colour combination from our Holiday Catalogue
(which is in it's last month of availability!!)

I've used the gorgeous Frosted Floral Suite on page 36 for my inspiration - the Frosted Floral DSP is DIVINE!!  I love all of the colours of this paper and the combination of soft images make it so versatile.  The colours in this DSP are:  Blackberry Bliss, Blushing Bride, Gray Granite, Merry Merlot, Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Pear Pizzazz, Pineapple Punch, Powder Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Soft Suede, and Tranquil Tide.

Frosted Floral 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Specialty Designer Series PaperFrosted Floral A4 Cardstock Pack

The coordinating cardstock is Blackberry Bliss, Gray Granite and Tranquil Tide.

I was feeling very time poor this week, so I've not only CASED the Colour Combinations of these projects, I've CASED the whole cards - thinking of ideas was beyond me which is why I absolutely LOVE our CASEING Challenge!!

My first card (above) is CASED from the card on the bottom left of the feature page.

Perennial Birthday Clear-Mount Stamp SetSprig Punch
I've used Perennial Birthday for my stamp set, and added some Tranquil Tide glimmer paper with the sprig punch instead of the blooms behind the greeting.

My second card is CASED from the one on the bottom right of the page.  I love the idea of slashing the DSP on the diagonal for the background piece - I've used the smaller piece inside the card for some extra interest.

I've added a bow using the lovely gold cord, and sequins for some sparkle!!

These cards are the feature of a party I am presenting tomorrow - very simple but so beautiful and the DSP creates the beauty!!

I hope you've been inspired - and that you will use some DSP as your starting point for creating - it certainly makes it so much easier to get the colours working well on any project!!!

Up next is the gorgeous colour combination from Peta - one of my favourite pairs of colours!!

We really love it when you join in the fun too!!  You're invited to add your photo and project to our lineup on our facebook challenge page here!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia   x
