Hello and Welcome to SU! Only Challenges! We are a design team using Stampin' Up! Only products for a range of challenges to inspire your creativity.
Make sure you check out all the amazing projects from the design team - truely inspiring!!
This week, we are creating ANYTHING except a card! As it turns out, I created quite a few 'not a card' projects!!
The first is this darling framed image featuring the sweet Little Elephant stamp set and coordinating punch. I've mounted it onto a stitched shape embossed with the Subtle embossing folder, and then onto a background using the Tufted embossing folder.
The instructions for making this lovely frame are explained really well and in great detail by Karin here.
My second project is the rubbish bins I created for my recent all day cardmaking retreat celebrating the New Catalogue.
I've embellished these basic rubbish bins with the glorious Petal Promenade DSP and the Crafting Forever stamp set.
This was the basic pattern I copied - while ignoring the top closure details.
These were a hit on the day, and a fantastic way to show off all our divine DSPs!! I've only featured the Petal Promenade here, but I also had bins featuring the Tea Time DSP, Nature's Poem DSP and Tranquil Textures DSP.
My next project is a shadow box frame that I featured in my previous post here.
This time I used the lovely Share What you Love DSP which is card weight - making it perfect for 3D projects!! My featured comes from the Love What You Do stamp set mounted onto a lovely Stitched Label framelit in Blackberry Bliss.
We'd love to see your projects featuring Anything But a Card. You can easily add your project to the lineup at our Blog by using this link.
Until Next Time,
Love Julia x
