Hello and Welcome to another inspiring post from CASEING the CATTY challenges.
We love to CASE projects from our fabulous Stampin' Up! catalogues, and challenge you to join in the fun and add your projects to our facebook challenge page.
This week, we are focusing on the fun chapter featuring Myths and Magic - pages 36- 43 of our Occasions Catalogue.
This week, I have actually created a huge bunch of cards featuring the Magical Day bundle, but I really wanted to feature the ultra adorable Hedgehugs stamp set for you.
I've cased the cute little card from page 38. My first card is identical to the card in the catalogue. Then I've tried a technique I've wanted to do for ages! I've stepped up the same card using a few more features which each level.
My second card features the greeting cut using the Stitched Shapes framelits and then mounted onto some Calypso Coral card cut with a scalloped laying circle. I've also added some Calypso ribbon at the base of the image. This card also features colouring using the Blends where the first features watercolour pencils.
My third card has an added Soft Suede layer under the central panel, a sweet piece of the Delicate White Doily at the bottom and the top, some burlap, linen thread, more vanilla lace trim visible and some clear epoxy shapes. The additions are very subtle (I think), but they really look sweet!
I hope you've been inspired!!!!
Now it's time for you to hop along to see Rachel's lovely project. Make sure you keep hopping all the way around - our design team always has some truly awesome inspiration for you!!
And please add your projects to the line up for our challenge!! We love to see your work!
Here's a few of the Magical Day cards for you to see - aren't they just too cute!!!
(They also feature the Bubbles and Fizz DSP from Sale-a-bration.)
Until Next Time,
Love Julia x
