CASEing Sweet Soiree CTC#162

Hello and Welcome along to the CASING the Catty Sunday Blog Hop!    We love to Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit projects from our project filled Stampin' Up! catalogues!!

This week, we are CASEing from the Sweet Soiree Chapter of our new Occasions Catalogue
- pages 10 - 14.

Image may contain: text

This sweet chapter has soooooo many gorgeous projects to CASE!!  Eventually I decided to case the old olive card to the far left of the landing page for Sweet Soiree - you can see it above!!  (page 10)

My project is not a card though.  I've used the papers and the cluster idea from the Stampin' Up! card and created a gift tag.  All of the papers are from the divine Sweet Soiree DSP which has threads of delicious silver through it!!

I have stamped onto the gift bag using Old Olive and the gorgeous floral spray from the Hold on to Hope stamp set.  I've also added a piece of the Magic and Myths washi tape for some more silveryness along with the silver bakers twine attached to the Birthday Mini Binder Clips

The greeting actually comes from the Sale-a-bration thinlits - Celebrate You.  I hope you've been inspired!!  Make sure you keep hopping around the entire design team - you are guaranteed to see this chapter in a totally new light!!

We also encourage you to join in the fun and add your creations inspired by this great chapter onto our facebook challenge page!

Until Next Time
Happy Stamping,

A Monochromatic theme for SUO#192

Hello and Welcome to our SUO (Stampin' Up! Only) Challenges #192.

We have a Monochromatic theme for you this time.  Make sure you head over to our blog to see the wonderful designs and ideas from the whole design team!
So much creativity in one place to inspire you.

So my colour of choice is...... Bermuda Bay - did you guess???? (hehehehe)

I've had some colour fun with my card this time.  The background is watercoloured with a reinker and aqua painter on our Glossy White cardstock - it looks different and the end result is shiny and fun and rather watery!!  I've stamped some wavy lines from Swirly Bird in Bermuda Bay and Whisper White for some additional wateryness. (Is that a word??)

With such a cool and calm background, I had to add my super sweet mermaid and sea horses from the fabulous Magical Day Bundle.  These were coloured with my Stampin' Blends in Bermuda Bay onto Glossy White cardstock.  They've been die cut with the coordinating Magical Mates framelits - so much better than fussy cutting these intricate designs.

My finishing touch is some glittery Magic and Myths washi tape and some dots of the Fine Tip Glue pen for bubbles.  The ribbon at the top of the card is also Bermuda Bay (of course) and it is one of the FREEBIES from Sale-a-bration!! It is a super shimmery and gorgeous ribbon - you would LOVE it!  Please contact me if you wish to get some!!  It's as easy as placing an order of AU$90!  Click on the link to head to my online store and explore the possibilities!!

I was so in love with my sweet little mermaid and the fun of the watercoloured background, that a made a bunch of these cards!!  You can even see the Wink of Stella shimmer on her in the photo!!

Now, get your own creative going, and join in the fun with us at SUO Challenges as you have fun being monochromatic.  Stampin' Up! is AWESOME for this sort of challenge because we have so many amazing and varied coordinating accessories, inks, cardstock and embellishments!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,

Lots of Lavender in a Sale-a-bration CASE #161

Hello and Welcome to our  blog hop  CASEing the Catty!  We are also a challenge blog encouraging you to try CASEing the Catty and seeing the catalogues in a new and inspiring way.

This week we are CASEing (Copy and Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit) any project in the Sale-a-bration catalgoue.  We will be featuring this little catalogue PACKED with inspiration for a few weeks in between blog hops featuring the new Occassions catalogue - there is so much to explore!!

No automatic alt text available.

I have been inspired by this sweet card in the middle of the photo
featuring Lots of Lavender on page 8.

To be honest, my time this week was somewhat limited, soooooo, I've gone for a direct CASE - I find this is the BEST way to get creating fast, and helps me jump those I-don't-have-any-ideas hurdles!

And I'm so glad I've CASEd this card - it's just darling!  I've coloured the lavender using my new Blends in Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Pool Party.

The card stock for the background is actually Soft Sky and works really well with these colours.  And can you see the sweet little lacy layer of vellum punched with the Decorative Ribbon Border?

And now it's time for you to hop along and see Megan's beautiful card!

Please add your creations to our fun facebook challenge page - it's super easy, and you'll find CASEing the Catty a totally fabulous way to get creating!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia  x

A fresh Start for Colour INKspiration 2018 #25

Welcome and Hello to 2018 Colour INKspiration challenges!!
Image may contain: plant, drink and nature

And what a fresh start we have for you!!  The colours for our 25th challenge are:
Night of Navy, Whisper White and Lemon Lime Twist.

So, I went all masculine for our challenge this time.

I'm featuring a suite of cards using our lovely new stamp set Truly Tailored from our Occasions Catalogue.  They are quite simple cards with a few variations.  This one above features the new Simple Stripes embossing folder.

With this card, I've used the coordinating Tailored Tag punch for the Lemon Lime Twist and fussy cut the greeting from the stamp set.

A little Fresh Florals DSP helped me give this card an extra boost....

and the large Dapper greeting needed a Stitched Shapes framelit for the extra size.  I've also added a pair of shoes from the ever useful Guy Greetings stamp set!!

Now it's time for you to keep hopping and being inspired with these glorious colours!!  Patrice has created a GORGEOUS card featuring a Sale-a-bration stamp set!!

And please add your projects to our lineup for the challenge at our facebook challenge page here.

I hope you've been inspired!

Until Next Time,
Happy stamping,
Love Julia   x

Welcome to 2018 CASEing the CATTY!! #160

Hello and Welcome to our first blog hop for 2018 for CASEing the Catty!!
It's great to be back!!  We had a crazy busy Summer break with family and visitors so the peace and quiet at home with time to create is sooo wonderful!!

Image may contain: text

This time we are CASEing (Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit) from our NEW Occasions Catalogue - the first Suite - Picture Perfect Party pages 4-9.

And I have chosen to CASE the simple little card on the bottom left of the landing page featuring this gorgeous Suite.

I've CASED the same layout and colours and used Perennial Birthday for my stamping.

The card featured in the catalogue is quite simple, so I've stepped this design up a bit with a few extras......some feature ribbon - Bermuda Bay stitched satin ribbon or Lemon Lime Twist ombre ribbon;

some feature watercolouring with Brusho Crystal Colour

 some feature flowers punched and raised on dimensionals in the bouquet;

...some feature the Tutti Fruiti Adhesive Backed Sequins.....

but all cards use Bermuda Bay, Lemon Lime Twist and Peekaboo Peach.

As I was preparing the extra flowers, I wondered whether there was much difference between fussy cutting them, or using the 3/4" punch.... what do you think?

Now it's time for you to hop along to see Monique's lovely project!!

And please add your projects to our facebook challenge page - you'll find the link here!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia   x
