Stampin' Up! So Very Much, Love Sparkles and Bookcase Builder

One of the best things about a HUGE greeting stamp is that your card requires very little else to be complete!!  This lovely thank you comes from the Saleabration stamp set So Very Much (and only available until March 31st - so if you like it GET IN QUICK!!)

This is a gift I recently gave to a dear friend at her baby shower.  It's a set of thank you cards for her to use to give to the people who came to her shower.

Each card is stamped with So Very Much in Basic Black, Watercolour Wash in So Saffron, and Cherry Cobbler for the stars and hearts elements from Love Sparkles.

I've carried the sparkle images over to the front of the gift box I made to pop the cards into.  As I don't know her little baby gender I've use the very neutral So Saffron, Cherry Cobbler and Kraft.

And this is the card I created for her.  It's an adaptation of a double z fold card - and totally inspired by the fantastic work of Bronwyn Eastley - here's her card .....

I was way tooo lazy to create those amazing rails on the crib - so I've adapted by using the Bookcase Builder stamp set - the book shelf has been stamped repeatedly to emulate the rails.  I also stamped my decorative label punch on the bed ends (to cater for my lazy railings!!) at the bottom of the scallop tag topper punch.

The crib is a 5cm x 9cm rectangle - created by using a strip of white cardstock 4cm x 29cm and scored at 5, 14, 19 and 28 on the long side.  The crib ends are 5cm x 7 1/2cm.

The embellishments are from the Bookcase Builder stamp set and Love Sparkles.

I loved making this card - all the while thinking about my friend and her new baby coming very soon!

Stampin' Up! Inside the Lines for Saleabration

Saleabration is almost over (sigh), but I've had a total blast playing with Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper for the last 3 months.

So, as we are nearing the end of the Saleabration fun, here a a few of my creations.

This paper can be coloured in many ways - I've used the lovely new watercolour pencils and an aquapainter....

I've usd markers......

I've used the Gold Wink of Stella brush.......

I've sponged all over the paper for some colourful fun.....

And I've even left it plain (as per the card on the top left).

It's really lovely to look back at all these great projects and I hope you've enjoyed it too.....

Celebrating April with Stampin' Up! Easter Message for SUO#171

Welcome to our Stampin' Up! Only Challenge!
We are celebrating April this time - so I've chosen to celebrate Easter.

These beautiful lily's are featured in Easter Message.
I've watercoloured them on watercolour paper.  I also stamped 2 extra flower heads and coloured, cut them and added them to the bunch for extra interest.

This beautiful design was inspired by a gorgeous project in our demonstrator magazine - I love the inspiration and ideas featured in this magazine, and I really look forward to reading it from cover to cover when it arrives.  It's one of the many many wonderful ways Stampin' Up! supports demonstrators so we are able to support you as customers and team members.
We are blessed indeed to be part of this company.

I'm on the team at SUO!

Now it's time for you to add your fabulous creation to our challenge board - you can use this link to get you there, and we love to see you join in the fun!

Make a Medallion meets watercolouring at CTC#121 Sale-a-bration

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hopping with the last of our Sale-a-bration offerings for you!  At CASEing the Catty we hope to inspire you and encourage your creativity by CASEing (Copy and Selectively Edit) our fabulous Stampin' Up! Catalogues.

This week, I've been inspired by the new Sale-a-bration leaflet - and this sunset colour card.  Instead of the Reverse Words stamp set featured, I've used the Make a Medallion stamp set along with the gorgeous Flourish thinlits.

Those cute words come from Crazy About You stamp set and the coordinating Hello You thinlits.

I've used the thinlits for the white greeting - and almost achieved the same effect as the greeting on the original card.  My watercolour wash features Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango, and Daffodil Delight.

All the other elements are almost identical - it's amazing how much cardmaking and scrapbooking are the same process!!

I'm pretty happy with another page being completed, and I hope you've been inspired too!!

Now it's time for you to continue your hop along to see Kathryn's cute trucks!!

For the complete list of the design team, head over to our blog for links.

And when you've hopped through the whole team, add your great project featuring Sale-a-bration to our challenge facebook page - we LOVE to see your great projects!!

Colour Inkspiration #6 Medallions

Hello and Welcome to our Colour Inkspiration Blog Hop!

Twice a month we inspire you to join our Colour Challenge with amazing images from pinterest using our fabulous Stampin' Up! colours.

No automatic alt text available.

This week we are creating with:
Night of Navy, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, and Gold

My lovely lovely Sale-a-bration tin was calling to me for some embellishment, sooooooo I've used another AWESOME  Sale-a-bration stamp set: Make a Medallion to tart up the tin!!

The Medallions were stamped with Night of Navy first, and then the quiet Pool Party with some colouring of the medallion using the Gold Wink of Stella pen - which coordinates PERFECTLY with the tin!!

I've used the Calypso Coral for the Large Letters framelits, but they look very very bright - this is because they are covered with some fine tip glue pen to make them shiny and glossy!!

I sincerely hope you've been inspired!
(And maybe you can decorate your card tin too!)

Next up on the hop is the amazing work of Mel.

Please, join in the fun with our Colour Challenge.  You can find our facebook Challenge Page here and add your projects in too!!  We'd love to see how you create using these colours.
You don't need to have a blog - simply photograph your project and add it to our gallery.

See you next week!!

Happy Stamping!

Cool Treats meets Urban Underground CTC#120

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop where we Case the Catty (Copy and Selectively Edit) to inspire you and share the joy of using our Catalogues as a springboard for your ideas.

No automatic alt text available.

This week, we are in the Urban Underground chapter - pages 46 - 49

I've been inspired by this fun card on page 49.......
mainly because I received these gorgeous pieces of the Tasty Treats DSP at a Retreat Day,
and I really wanted to show them off and have fun!!

I think this layout is just perfect for showing off lots of different designs of DSP.
I've used 3 different colours for the card base - but I think my favourite is the Watermelon Wonder - only 2 more months of this glorious colour - better get in quick to love and use it while I can!!
If you love it too, I'd advise getting some more cardstock now before stocks deplete very quickly  at the end of the Catalogue year.

I love the stamp set - Cool Treats, and the framelits - Frozen Treats just as much as the Tasty Treats paper - and they look just AMAZING together too!!
And as a bonus, you receive a 10% discount when you purchase the stamps and framelits as a bundle!

Now it's time for you to hop along and see Mel's gorgeous guy card.  There are some pretty special projects on our hop this week.

We love to have you join in the fun with us, and you can add your projects to our facebook Caseing the Catty Sunday Challenge group by clicking on the link.
