CASEing the favourite!! How many favourites are there? CTC# 109

Hello and Welcome to another Sunday Night blog hopping while we CASE the Catty.

This week, we are CASEING ANYTHING!!!
So, that got me wondering about my favourite projects that are illustrated in our Catalogues ......... and there are LOTS and LOTS.
Basically, (if I am honest), my favourite is the current project or catalogue or stamp set that I'm working on
 - and at the moment I'm creating for Christmas (only 7 more sleeps!!!).

I've made these lovely little star decorations as gifts for co-workers, family and friends everywhere!
They are created using the Star of Light bundle -

I stamped the lovely star image, cut out the shape with the star outline framelit, and then cut the dotty detail using the detailed star thinlit.  It lines up beautifully with the stamped image.  The second layer is gold glimmer paper cut out with the star outline framelit, and then adhered behind the stamped and cut star while sandwiching some gold bakers twine between to hang the little ornament.

This little star is a CASE of the star on the front of the Holiday Catalogue -

and if you follow me, you'll remember that I've CASED this star before in a previous post - here it is below.

This star was far more detailed and fiddly than the one I have created this week as it is a really 3 dimensional project.

The star I've made this week is far simpler AND much easier and quicker to make multiples  AND it's lovely and flat for me to post - so I have lots to give away as gifts!

Which is your favourite?

And what would be your favourite project out of all of our CATALOGUES?

The choices are amazing, AND, you'll see some fabulous projects as you continue your hop throughout the entire design team -
ENJOY and MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!

And when you have a minute for yourself in this last week leading up to Christmas - enter your own project into our monthly challenge so you join in the fun too.

If you get lost along the way, feel free to go to our blog to see the complete list of all of the design team.

  1. Gorgeous Julia, love both versions, but I always think something you can post is a brilliant creation. The happiness when people receive real mail is something quite special and we are in the business of spreading that happiness! Great work. Hope yours is a beautiful Christmas
