Stampin' Up! Tin of Tags for CTC#94

Hello and Welcome to Caseing the Catty Sunday blog hop!  This week we begin CASEing (Copy and Share Everything) projects from our wonderful new Holiday Catalogue.  So you will absolutely HAVE to hop around the entire design team - especially if you're about to embark on your Christmas Crafting!!

The first chapter is the Candy Cane Lane Suite - from pages 4 - 7.  Now, I know there are not many pages, but there are so many inspirational projects!!

I immediately went to this great project on page 4 - Why?  Because it's flagged as Quick and Easy and the whole list of supplies is there with the title You Can Make It!!

So, I thought, well, YES I CAN.
However, I haven't ANY of the Candy Cane Lane supplies - so it's time to improvise and adapt!!

I've used the fabulous Tin of Tags stamp set for all the greetings -
and there are LOTS in this stamp set - so this was a great choice!!.
Then, I used the neutrals patterned paper (instead of the Candy Cane DSP - which is gorgeous by the way!!), and mounted it onto real red card stock with the white or black bakers twine sandwiched in between the two layers.

I've used all the same colours AND the 2" circle punch for the tags - and it looks great don't you think!!??  What a fun project for making tags this year for Christmas.  As it says in the catalogue "Create all your Seasonal Tags in a burst of Crafting Fun"

Well I'm 6 tags ahead for my gift giving this year!!  Woohoo!!

Now it's time for you to continue your Sunday Night Blog Hop -
either forward to Jackie or in reverse to Judy.... ............we have all the J's together this week!!
Judy, Julia and Jackie  (teehee, I love a bit of alliterations!!)

And when you've be sufficiently inspired, make sure you pop your entry into our monthly challenge and join in the fun with us!
We love to share our creativity with you, and we love it when you share your creativity with us!!

See you next week for the next fabulous installment of our Holiday Catalogue!!

  3. This stamp set is by far the best in the catty in my opinion. How clever of you to used the DSP stack. I am always left with heaps of those sheets & you've jut given me a great use for it.

  4. Perfect. I'm sitting here (seeing all these lovely tag sets) wondering if the colour range DSP stacks would work in lieu of Christmas DSP (which I don't have) and as I hop on over to your blog - BAM! You've just answered my question in spectacular style! Great work Julia, thanks for the inspiration!!
