We've just had our country show this past weekend, and as always I love to join in the fun and enter into the handcraft section for scrapbooking and cardmaking. The theme for the show this year was:
Something new with a thread of agriculture - so there were a few Rural categories for entries!
This was my winning card for the Stamped Card section - love this stamp set Awesomely Artistic.
I received a 3rd for my wedding card in the Special Occasions Category - there were some totally gorgeous cards entered, so I was pretty thrilled to receive this!
My rural card received a 1st and it features our lovely retired stamp set: Happy Scenes.
And I also received a 1st for the Fancy Folds section with my fun birthday card - I've just loved making lots of these this year!!
Entering in the show is fun - and you should try it too!! Next year, we will make a point of getting together to make some cards and projects so we can all enter into our local country show and join in the fun too!! Watch this space!!
