Sale-a-bration Glitter Tape for CTC#68

Welcome along to our Sunday night Blog Hop - this week we are CASEING (Copy and Share Everything or Copy and Selectively Editing) our Sale-a-bration Catty.

And I have chosen to CASE our new 2nd edition Sale-a-bration Catty.  I've totally fallen in LOVE with the wonderful new Glitter Tape, so this is the project I've CASED.

I've created a box using our Gift Box Punch Board, and then used the wonderful glitter tape to wrap around it in two stripes.  This had the advantage of strengthening the box too!! Bonus.

The tag is the same as the source image, but I've used  a different greeting from the same Party Pants stamp set (another newbie for Sale-a-bration).

A little gold heart and some decadent gold ribbon to tie it all together and Voila!  Project is complete.

I hope you've been inspired to join in the blog hop - this is your last week to join in the fun this month - so link up using this graphic here, and share your lovely creativity with us.

Now it's time to hop on over to the next in our line up this week - forward or backwards - you'll be inspired either way!!

And if you get totally lost, be sure to hop on over to our CASEING the CATTY blog to see the entire design team list.  Enjoy!!
(and see you next Sunday!!)

I've used Tangerine Tango - and stamped my balloon three times to get all the different tones of Tangerine - what a great way to get lots of colours!!  I've also used my great little balloon punch for the extra two little balloons at the front with the greetings!
What a happy card!! (smile)

Number of Years mixed with Flowering Fields CTC#67

Hello again to our Sunday night blog hop!!
And a shout out to CASEING the CATTY - this is our 100th post!!!  How cool is this!!
 This week we are exploring
the Birthday Bouquet Section of the Occasions Catalogue - pages 8 -  15.

My project has been inspired by the lovely stamp set Number of Years projects on the bottom of page 11, and especially this darling scrapbooking page.

I've used this great idea of the little squares of DSP - my page features the Wildflower Fields Sale-a-bration DSP, and I've added in Flowering Fields stamping too!!  (Couldn't resist!)

I've totally copied the lovely little flag banner in the top left corner, and the number for the title embellishment!!  As my page is not about a birthday age, but about 3 wonderful friends being together, I haven't done the stamping in the background of all the numbers (even though it looks amazing!!)

My bottom right square features the lovely Sale-a-bration Botanical Gardens vellum stack.  I've layered it over the top of Blackberry Bliss cardstock, and stamped the flowers with white stazon ink.  The final touch is some lovely watercolouring on the flowers.

So, are you inspired?  Make sure you add your lovely creation to our monthly challenge by clicking on the link below and entering!!

Now it's time for you to hop along to the rest of the hop.  And you get to go forward or backwards!!

See you next week!!

Number of Years Explosion Box

It's always wonderfully awe inspiring to meet a couple who've been happily married for 50 years.  We have the wonderful privilege of  celebrating this wonderful milestone with some dear friends.

And this is their card - and it was so much fun putting this together!!  I've used gold foil paper, gold glimmer paper, soft suede ink and Number of Years stamp set.

I've also used the Petite Petal Punch, Pansy Punch and the little flower from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  The little cake comes from Endless Birthday Wishes.

I LOVE the sparkly finish!!!

Edit:  Here is the template for you to make your own!!

What I love - sponging and masking

I love the artistic effect of masking a card with some torn paper, and then stamping randomly in the space.  This time I've used What I Love sale-a-bration stamp set, and then I've sponged over the entire space to give this single sheet card, the look of layers.

Looks great doesn't it!!

Would you like to have a go creating this card?

Birthday Blooms challenge

TGIF have a groovy sketch challenge this week, and I've used the wonderful Birthday Bouquet DSP for my entry card.

I had fun watercolouring this lovely flower with my clear wink of stella brush and the ink pads - the final effect is just beautiful!!

And this card with it's fun fold, makes full use of the gorgeous DSP and both sides of the paper and their gorgeous designs.

I had so much fun, I made another in Portrait orientation - this time using the Going Global suite.
