Helping Me Grow for JAI

To start off the new year Just Add Ink have a challenge to add something new.  And as there are so MANY amazing new wonderful products to play with from our New Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogues, this was most certainly a challenge!!

So I'm using one of my new stamp sets AND trying a new technique I've just discovered!!

I discovered this new idea when I was too lazy to get out my heat tool to do white embossing for watercolouring!!  Instead I used white Stazon Ink and then watercoloured, and the effect is almost the same and just as gorgeous!!  I've used Helping Me Grow stamp set which has 2 lovely floral images and quite a few greetings along with the little embellishments which create a 'seed packet' look - and I think this stamp set is just lovely!!  The only extra I've added is some splotches from Gorgeous Grunge and some fibres from our lovely white jute ribbon which I've tied in a knot.

I hope you like it!!  And be sure to hop on over to see the incredibly amazing creations from the design team at JAI!!

  7. Very pretty image Julia - I really love how it dominates the card while at the same time is subtle. Chantell JAI
