Lovely little elements here - some vellum, a scalloped tag topper, a cute little metallic peg, chevron natural ribbon, and some gorgeous watercolouring..... The background watercolouring behind the image is actually one of the stamps in the set - really lovely extra to an image.

This amazing stamp - Hardwood is so lovely!! It makes an amazing background for any sentiment at all!! This time I've created another guy card (my brother's birthday card to be precise!!) using the Sale-a-bration stamp set See Ya Later for the greeting, and some extra embellishments with Hello, Sailor.
I've used a lovely little wooden element for the top corner - fantastically easy to stamp onto!!

This week at Just Add Ink, we have a sketch challenge and there are some amazing examples to inspire and amaze you on the website - so be sure to click the link and have a look!!
This is my take on the challenge - I'm trying to make a few more male cards, and this stamp set - Just Sayin' is just awesome for this I think! I have used some printed vellum on the top half of my cards, some washi tape through the middle and the base card is Soft Sky. My contrasting colour is Island Indigo - with a bit of help from my colour coach - and it looks just grand with the Soft Sky.
My banners are made from the stamps from Perfect Pennants and some Island Indigo ribbon. My final touch is one of the lovely metallic buttons tied with some Island Indigo bakers twine. Cool!!

One of the best things about using DSP on cards is that it gives you the colour range for the rest of the card - in this case I've used Crumb Cake, Coastal Cabana and Real Red - which is a lovely fresh colour palate don't you think?
I've used the Sale-a-bration stamp set You're lovely here with the coordinating Deco Label Framelits. The contrasting strip of DSP down the left side is the other side of the front panel of the card that I cut off - looks cool doesn't it!!

I'm loving the gold in the new watercolour wonder Washi Tape and I have paired it with gold ink on these cute little flowers from Petite Petals with their coordinating punch. The greeting comes from Love you the Moon - gorgeous hey? A new take on Valentines Day........

I'm working my way through the Sale-a-bration catalogue here - another lovely CASE - I have used Perfectly Penned for my greeting, and I punched the banners and popped them onto the card - very quick and easy. There are LOTS of ideas for using these banners all over the internet. It's a really great stamp set and easy to use - and it's FREE with only $90 purchase during Sale-a-bration!! How good is that!!

This week at SUO Challenges the challenge is to have No Layers on a card - so this card is all about the stamping.
I sponged around an oval mask, stamped inside the mask with Peaceful Petals,
and then drew a line around the oval - I think it looks pretty good! This was certainly a challenge for me as I do like to do lots of layers and embellishments!! I was so inspired by this challenge that I made a few more clean and simple cards..... so stay tuned for the next few days when I will post my creations!!
