Clockworks

From the first moment I looked at our new catalogue, I just LOVED this card and stampset.  I have copied this card straight from our new Stampin' Up! catalogue, and it was so much fun!  The colours are More Mustard, Gumball Green, and Island Indigo.

The clock face is stamped onto some window sheet with Black Stazon Ink, and the clock frame has been heat embossed with silver embossing powder.  The Indigo blotches were made using a reinker and some Isocol mixed together in an aquapainter and squeezed onto the image.

This card also highlights some faux techniques - faux metal, and faux stitching.  The Faux stitching is achieved by piercing the cardstock using the piercing template, and then drawing lines using the white gel pen to create stitching!  The Faux metal is created by heat embossing 5 layers of silver embossing powder and then stamping into the molten powder with the stamp which has been inked up with versamark.  Looks fantastic, and this technique means you can stamp anything to create a metal look!
